Let's say that you are one of the biggest selling female groups, ever. Your combined record sales total over 40 million records, worldwide. You've seen your albums debut at the top of the charts, and stay there. You've racked up enumerable industry awards, accolades and platinum or gold records. Not only is your group successful, but its individual members have all had superlative solo achievements and as a result you that collectively and on your own, you are what modern female pop/R&B is meant to sound, feel and sell like. How do you possibly attempt match, much less top, your impressive statistics? When you're Destiny's Child, the answer's easy. You see your past as a guide to your potential and seize the future with the most compelling music of your career. In short, you fulfill your destiny. Destiny Fulfilled is Destiny's Child's sixth album. Filled with soaring harmonies, rich with rhythm and nuance and brimming with a passionate, purposeful style that is quintessentially their own, Destiny Fulfilled is not only the strongest album of the group's career: it is the album they were destined to make. Destiny Fulfilled is executive produced by Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams & Mathew Knowles. Beyonce is the key producer of all the album's tracks and the record's musical concepts and vocal arrangements are the result of her artistic vision. Her tireless work ethic and attention to studio details have created the masterfully seamless flow, boundless energy and exquisite polish of Destiny Fulfilled.
Listening to Destiny Fulfilled, you are immediately struck by Destiny's Child growth as singers, songwriters, artists and women. Destiny Fulfilled is markedly more mature and focused, reflecting Beyonce's, Kelly's and Michelle's emotional development while mirroring their true-life experiences. "You hear our vulnerability," Beyonce offers. "We've always had strong songs that encouraged women and you still hear that this time, but you will also hear our weaknesses: the crying, the laughter, the friendship. The song on this album are far more layered and involved because we have the tools to talk about a lot more, because we're older and have experienced a lot more than we did when we were teenagers." While Destiny Fulfilled might surprise some long time fans with its breadth and depth, it is also an album that many of those same fans thought might never see the light of day. After all it's been three years since 2001'survivor, and as any one can tell you, three years away from the game can be a lifetime. In addition, during the group's hiatus, each of the ladies embarked on solo projects. Yet after all those individual accomplishments, Destiny's Child are back on the charts; putting all those rumors to rest.
"We always said we were going to do solo records after Survivor and then come back and do another record," Kelly explains, referring to DC's game plan. "We've maintained our friendship and supported each other's projects and enjoy each other," Beyonce continues. "We wanted to do another record. I know we have a lot of fans that want to hear it and, more importantly, we wanted to do it because we love this collaboration. It was important for us to do our own things, so that we'd have the opportunity to grow and see what we could do on our own. It's really beautiful to do that and then also have the opportunity to come back together and have the fun we have when we are together. When you have that sort of friendship, recording doesn't feel like work." Acknowledging that in the past some listeners might not have been completely aware of the extent of Kelly and Michelle's contributions to the group's music, Beyonce points out that solo projects offered each of them a platform to establish a personal musical identity. When it came time to record Destiny Fulfilled, she explains that "as the vocal producer, my main job was to let people know how beautiful Kelly and Michelle sound and how talented they are. It's amazing that we have a group with three women who are singers. Not dancers but singers. Our solo projects and now this album prove once and for all what we already knew: that every woman in this group can stand on her own."
Destiny Fulfilled encompasses a wide array of sonic influences from the lush orchestration of Philly soul to club-savvy crunk to contemporary gospel. Vocally the group looked to "the true hard R&B singers (like Jodeci and SWV) for inspiration. When it comes to the harmonies and arrangements we really challenged ourselves and did things we've never done before,"Kelly observes. One of the biggest challenges came in the form of Destiny Fulfilled's thematic approach. More than a collection of songs, Destiny Fulfilled is as tony of a woman's journey through the highs and lows of falling in and out of love. Unfolding chapter by chapter, the story begins with the propulsive and sexually charged "Lose My Breath," which reunites Destiny's Child with longtime friend and collaborator Rodney Jerkins. "Working with Rodney again was wonderful," Michelle declares. "He came in with this new energy and this new sound."
"When we first heard 'Lose My Breath,' we were very excited because it was just so up-tempo and even the up-tempo songs these days aren't really that energized," Beyonce continues. "The beat reminded me of college football drumlines. It reminded me of childhood rhythms that made you wanna dance really hard which is where we got the title from, 'cause when you move like that you lose your breath." Following the exhilaration of meeting the guy, the story segues into the rough and rugged "Soldier," produced by Rich Harrison and featuring LilWayne and T.I. If "Lose My Breath" captures the first rush of lust, then the down and dirty south grooves of "Soldier" breaks things down to a woman's expectations and the undeniable fact that she needs a soldier to protect her. From "Soldier" comes the vulnerability and naked devotion expressed in the Jerkins-produced "Cater 2 U." With lines like, "Let me help you take off your shoes/ let me feed you whatever you desire," "Cater2 U" is about finding that special "soldier" and doing everything you canto please him. Quite a shift from "Independent Woman"! "Yeah we're showing our softer side," agrees Kelly. "I know some people will be shocked by that song but it's about doing these things for your man only if he's really worthy of them."
From that heart-on-the-sleeve sentiment, Destiny Fulfilled then takes the listener on an intimate trip as the protagonist lusts over her lover (the frankly sensual "T Shirt"), begins to wonder if her man is doing her wrong (in the 70's soul-influenced "Is She The Reason"), realizes that she's not afraid to let him know she's over him, that moment when your girls rally behind you to give you support (the mid-tempo anthem "Girl"), then on to"Bad Habit," produced by Bryan Michael Cox with all the emotion that let's you know that man could be an addiction and features Kelly Rowland on lead vocals to (the soaring, Rockwilder-produced "If"), experiences there signation of giving up (the cascading, emotional "Through With Love,"featuring, and produced by, Mario Winans), and then finally reaches the point when she's finally able to find real love, witnessed by the inspirational "Love," the first non-gospel production from Michelle's brother, Erron Williams.
According to Beyonce , "'Love' concludes the story, because we find the love we've always had with God. That's the destiny that's been fulfilled because the woman is searching for love and eventually she finds it in God and herself and because of that she can eventually find love with a man." In an unusual move, Destiny's Child allotted a scant three weeks for recording, banning anyone not involved with integral creative support from the studio. "We've never worked that way before," admits Michelle, "but it became yet another challenge. I think having such a brief time (to record) really forced us to focus." Not that things were all work and no play. As Kelly tells it," As soon as we got back into the studio we all just started running our mouths, catching up, having fun. There is nothing like the support of Beyonce and Michelle." After completing work on Survivor (which won the Best R&B Performance By A Duo or Group with Vocals Grammy) and 8 Days of Christmas in 2001, Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle each took some time to explore their individual identities in a series of highly-successful solo projects. In April 2002, Michelle Williams became the first member of Destiny's Child to have a solo project released. Heart To Yours, Michelle's contemporary gospel collection, reached #1 on the Top Gospel Albums chart. Michelle's second gospel album, Do You Know reached the #2 slot on the Top Christian Album chart and #3 on the Top Gospel Albums chart shortly after its release in January 2004. A re-release of Do You Know, featuring two new bonus tracks, is slated for release in December 2004. Michelle earned rave reviews after replacing Toni Braxton in the lead role of "Aida" on Broadway in November 2003. Released in October 2002, Kelly Rowland's solo debut, Simply Deep featured the #1 Billboard Hot 100 smash hit, "Dilemma," Kelly's Grammy-winning (Best Rap/Sung Collaboration) duet with hip-hop superstar Nelly. The album became an international smash, hitting the #1 slot on the UK and several other countries' album charts while peaking in the states at #3 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Album chart. Simply Deep Beyonce's burgeoning career as an actress began in 2001 with the lead role in the MTV film "Carmen: A Hip Hopera." She displayed her comedic prowess as "Foxxy Cleopatra" in 2002's "Austin Powers In Gold member," starring Mike Myers. She starred opposite Cuba Gooding, Jr., in 2003's "The Fighting Temptations." Her latest film project is a prequel to "The Pink Panther,"starring Steve Martin as "Inspector Clouseau" and Beyonce as "Xania."
Beyonce toured America for the first time as a solo artist in support of her #1 multi-platinum debut solo album, Dangerously In Love, which earned her five 2004 Grammy Awards including Best Contemporary R&B Album and Best&B Song for "Crazy In Love," her smash single featuring Jay-Z. With her five Grammy win, Beyonce tied the record set by Lauryn Hill in 1999--and later tied by Alicia Keys (2001) and Norah Jones (2002)--for the most Grammys to be won in a single year by a female artist. Working apart from each other gave the members of Destiny's Child a new-found appreciation of what each of them brings to the group and that support, love, confidence and maturity is clearly evident throughout Destiny Fulfilled's moving and soulful songs. Asked what they hope their millions of fans around the globe will get from this most personal of projects and Beyonce speaks from the heart: "We want this album to be timeless and set a new standard. Even though it would be great to sell a lot of records, our goal is already accomplished by making this album. Hopefully coming back together again will inspire other groups to support each other, be happy for each other, and to let people know it's alright to go out on your own but it's also alright to come back together."
Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle have used the lessons learned during their own solo excursions to create the most unified and powerful Destiny's Child album to-date. With Destiny Fulfilled, the group delivers on the promise of its earlier recordings to breathe new fire into the worlds of contemporary pop and R&B music. Beyonce was born on 4, 1981, in Houston, Texas. Kelly was born on February 11, 1981, in Atlanta, Georgia. Michelle was born on July 2, 1980, in Rockford, Illinois.
Michelle Williams: God told me to ditch fiancé
Destiny’s Child star Michelle Williams has revealed how God told her to ditch her fiancé.
The sexy singer had been dating the mystery lover for three years but once she felt ready to settle down with him, she sought advice from up above.
She told Britain’s Mirror newspaper: "If one person is doing well, and another's trying to get there, it can be trying. Keep your morals and don't bend for anyone.
"I was close to marriage. I prayed and said, 'God, you have to show me. If it ain't right, let me know.' All of a sudden, red flags started popping up."
Although Michelle, 24, says she still has strong feelings for her ex-lover, she knew the relationship wasn’t right for her - because she hadn’t had enough life experience.
She added: "He's still a good man... talented... but he just was not for me.
"Sometimes you have to go through something to get to something. So I got to God. And I think it's part of growing pains because I had never been through nothing. I didn't know what it was to have a broken heart. My relationship was going great.
"But my mother always used to say, 'Keep on living and you're gonna go through something.' She sure did."

"Our 2005 tour is going to be amazing and will really entertain our fans across the globe," Beyonce Knowles said in a statement Thursday.
After Japan, Destiny's Child will perform throughout Australia and Europe and eventually conclude in the United States and Canada this summer. Stops include Dubai in the United Arab Emirates; Stockholm, Sweden; Milan, Italy; Paris; and London.
They will play 44 North America cities, finishing in Honolulu in September. A full schedule will be released later.
Destiny's Child will be supporting its most recent album, "Destiny Fulfilled," featuring the single "Soldier."
Destiny's Child to do the introductions at NBA All-Star game
Say Shaq's name, say Shaq's name.
Destiny's Child will make the player introductions at the NBA All-Star game Sunday, the basketball league announced Tuesday. Country singers LeAnn Rimes and Big & Rich were also announced as the game's halftime performers.
On Saturday, as part of the dunk contest and 3-point shootout festivities, Kelly Clarkson and the Goo Goo Dolls will perform.
The game of East and West All-Star teams, in Denver this year, is Sunday at 7 p.m. (CST) on TNT. The Saturday events are on TNT at 7:30 p.m. (CST).
Destiny's Child Get Naked And Get Revenge In New Videos
Clips for 'Cater 2 U' and 'Girl' take trio from desert to big city.
Standing amidst the shifting sands of the desert, Destiny's Child stand strong — and nude.
No, this is not a mirage. Beyoncé, Kelly and Michelle have decided to go au naturale — tastefully, of course — for their new video, "Cater 2U."
According to the treatment, the Jake Nava-directed video is all about scenery and the beauty of the trio. As it plays out, with each member featured in her own desert scene — Beyoncé on a diving board, Kelly on a deserted road and Michelle in a lounge chair — each lady sings about, and briefly to, their respective men. The video climaxes with a group performance and dance routine that ends in the threesome standing side by side.
Where shooting one video in a week would have been enough for most artists, the ladies of Destiny's Child decided to shoot two. In addition to "Cater 2 U," they enlisted the services of Outkast's go-to director, Bryan Barber, for the "Girl" clip. The video will serve as their next overseas offering and is a stark contrast to the simplicity of "Cater 2 U."
"Girl" finds Beyoncé, Michelle and Kelly paying homage to another all-female clique — the ladies of "Sex and the City." As the three get together at a trendy restaurant to console Kelly after being stood up, it quickly becomes clear who's who with Beyoncé stepping into Sarah Jessica Parker's Manolo Blahnik heels as a Carrie-esque character.
The video cuts back and forth from the restaurant to their respective apartments with Beyoncé at the computer and Kelly sitting down to a home-cooked meal alone. At the same time, Michelle is out on a shoe-shopping expedition when she spots Kelly's man getting quite friendly with another woman, which she of course tells her girl when they get together.
Kelly goes home to her man to resolve the situation. And resolve it she does, seducing her unfaithful man into a compromising position in public, much to the delight of her girls Beyoncé and Michelle.
Having wrapped the two clips, Beyoncé will step out on her own once again in a few weeks when she performs with classical singer Josh Groban and the American Boychoir at the Academy Awards.
Michelle Williams Dating British TV Presenter?
Destiny's Child star Michelle Williams has reportedly embarked on a romance with British TV presenter Tim Vincent.
While bandmates Beyonce Knowles and Kelly Rowland have been enjoying longterm relationships, Williams has been waiting to find love -- until now.
According to In Touch Weekly, Knowles and Rowland introduced the pair last year, and they've been enjoying a transatlantic relationship ever since.
The couple recently enjoyed time together in Florida, where Vincent was covering property tycoon Donald Trump's lavish nuptials for the TV show "Access Hollywood" last month.
Michelle Williams' Breast Horror
DESTINY'S CHILD beauty MICHELLE WILLIAMS is sympathetic about JANET JACKSON's infamous breast exposure, because she once suffered a similar embarrassment.
However, unlike Jackson during her SUPER-BOWL performance last February (04), the SURVIVOR singer managed to hide the unplanned flesh flash from her fans with some clever dance moves.
She says, "I had the same thing happen to me in Amsterdam.
"Luckily one of our dancers saw it and came and danced in front of me while I put my top back on."
Destiny's Child Beauty Breaks Off Engagement
Kelly Rowland has reportedly broken off her engagement to fiancé Roy Williams.
The Destiny's Child beauty, who was set to tie the knot with the American football player in March, is now said to have cancelled the lavish bash.
It has been reported that Kelly has changed her mind after originally accepting his proposal.
A source said: "Her friends were staggered."
Kelly announced her engagement to Roy last year and revealed how he proposed to her in the most romantic way.
She said: "There were rose petals and candles everywhere and I was like, 'Okay, what's going on?' and then he dropped to his knee and asked me to marry him."
Before she began dating Roy, Kelly had been linked to hip hop star Nelly. Just last year, Kelly had confessed she was desperate for a man in her life, saying: "The truth is, if I had just one wish for the rest of my life, I'd ask for a good man to settle down with and be the father of my babies."
Beyonce hints Destiny's Child are no more?
Beyoncé Knowles has hinted that Destiny's Child may never record another album together.
The sexy singer, who has forged a successful solo career outside of the band, says the group's latest album, 'Destiny Fulfilled', may be their last as she doesn't think they'll be able to perform as well when they get older.
She said: "Maybe in five years we'll do another record, maybe not. We could do a reunion but we can't be 40 doing 'Bootylicious'."
Beyoncé recently admitted she and her bandmates, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, didn't get any work done on the first day they started recording their new album - because they were too busy talking.
The trio were so thrilled to see each other when they met up to record 'Destiny's Fulfilled' they got a bit carried away.
She said: "The first day, we didn't get anything done. We just talked and laughed and felt like we were home."
Michelle also said she thought it was great for the band to go their separate ways for a period of time, as she believed it improved them as a band.
She said: "It was good for us to each go out and do our own thing. When you're in the studio by yourself, you have to grow musically and learn to depend on yourself.
So when we got back together, we knew how we each wanted to sound."
Destiny's Child's Kelly Rowland has a rock body
Svelte Delts -- Kelly Rowland. Why we picked her:
With her new chart topping album and killer bod, Destiny's Child's Kelly Rowland wasn't destined to sing backup -- she's one hot chick who's definitely ready for center stage. Clearly Nelly thought so when he sought her out for his hit song "Dilemma." And that's why her solo career is en fuego!
Her awesome physique is capped by a set of strong, sexy shoulders that can't be beat. Those well-toned toppers make her waist look whittled and her legs as long as an interstate highway.
How she does it:
Kelly's favorite foods are greens and corn bread, both low fat and healthy choices that help keep her slim and sculpted. But it's her morning workout ritual that really broadens her horizons -- and her shoulders.
Get the look:
To shape your shoulders like Rowland's, try this Shoulder Side Raise exercise, 2 to 3 sets, 8 to 15 reps per set, 2 to 3 times a week.
(A) Hold a 16-ounce soup can or a dumbbell in each hand and stand tall with your feet hip width apart and your arms at your sides. Bend your elbows slightly. (B) Keeping the slight bend in your elbows, raise your arms up and out to the sides until your elbows are level with your shoulders. Slowly lower to the start.
Destiny's Child stunned by obsessed fan
Destiny's Child were left stunned when an obsessed fan showed them her back with all their faces tattooed on it.
The group, Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, were speechless when the girl showed them the unusual body art at a concert.
Beyoncé said: "One fan had all our faces tattooed across her back. It was very flattering, but very weird."
However, it is not the only time the group have come face-to-face with an unusual fan.
Kelly added: "One of the weirdest was a guy who gave me a dead rose as a gift. That was really odd. I just thanked him politely and ran away as quickly as I could."
Meanwhile, Beyoncé has confessed she loves big butts.
The stunning star, who is famed for her curvaceous behind, thinks curvy women are really sexy and should be proud of their shape.
She told Britain's FHM magazine: "I don't think butts can ever be too big. I'm proud I've helped make curves and curvy women sexy again."
However, the singer admits she is sick of fans shouting 'bootylicious' at her because of her famous rear.
She said: "I hate the word, because everyone shouts it at me wherever I go."
Destiny's Child : 'Don't Copy Our Image'
Destiny's Child have urged their impressionable female fans to quit copying their body image - and allow themselves to sample the culinary treats served up this Christmas (04).
Singer KELLY ROWLAND has emphasised the importance of a healthy diet and insists youngsters must focus on loving themselves before developing a taste for fashion, and concerns about their weight.
She says, "We feel it's important to speak out on young girls being body conscious. Eat. Don't live to eat, eat to live.
"You find so many cases where kids are obese or don't eat, and you never know what's going to happen. Love yourself. If you don't love yourself then how can you expect the rest of the world to see what's so beautiful about you?
"Everybody on this earth is made differently."
Destiny's Child Goes To The North Pole
The members of DESTINY'S CHILD are heading to the North Pole for their latest music video, which will accompany a cover of RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER.
BEYONCE KNOWLES, KELLY ROWLAND and MICHELLE WILLIAMS will appear animated in the clip, which will start with their session at North Pole Studios where they'll lay down the vocals for the song.
The camera tracks the trio as they snowboard, meet "the most famous reindeer of all" and dance with Rudolph.
Destiny's Child recorded the track for the 40th annual broadcast of the holiday special, also called Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer and collector's edition DVD.
Beyonce Not Obsessed By Beauty
Destiny's Child star BEYONCE KNOWLES is flattered she is often named one of the most beautiful woman in the world, but she can see beyond the superficial accolade.
The LOSE MY BREATH singer is more concerned with having a lasting career than basking in the attention her stunning looks get her.
She says, "It's very nice. I haven't heard that but it's very flattering. You know, that goes and that comes. Whoever is the hot person at the moment they do that for, but if you want to have a long career, you can't concentrate on that."
Bandmate KELLY ROWLAND supports Beyonce, adding, "And when it comes to Beyonce, we get to see her on the inside too and what's on the inside is beautiful too."
Rowland: 'I'm So In Love'
DESTINY'S CHILD star KELLY ROWLAND is happier than ever before - thanks to the love of her DALLAS COWBOYS boyfriend ROY WILLIAMS.
The SURVIVOR singer got engaged to Williams on 14 May (04) after just three months of dating, because she was in no doubt he was "the one".
She gushes, "He's very sweet and really romantic.
"Something in my spirit said he was the one. He's a brilliant man, a great man.
"I'm learning a lot from him. Love is incredible, amazing. I've never experienced anything like this before."
Michelle Williams Searching For God -Loving Man
Destiny's Child singer MICHELLE WILLIAMS' ideal man is a devoted Christian, who will "push" her towards her goals.
Williams is currently the only single member of the girlband - her bandmate KELLY ROWLAND is engaged to DALLAS COWBOYS star ROY WILLIAMS and BEYONCE KNOWLES is dating rapper JAY-Z.
Of the man of her dreams, Williams says, "I would want a man who has unwavering faith in the Lord. Everything else will fall into place.
"If he's walking in God's light, he will be confident, protective, supportive of you and your dreams and push you towards your goals."
Williams: 'Destiny's Child Work Hard For Their Money'
Destiny's Child beauty MICHELLE WILLIAMS has shattered the illusion that being in a girl band is 24-hour fun, insisting their hectic workload often leaves them exhausted.
Williams, who joined BEYONCE KNOWLES and KELLY ROWLAND in Destiny's Child in 2000, gets frustrated with outsiders who believe the R+B outfit earn millions of dollars for having a great time - because in truth they work extremely hard for their money.
She says, "People don't realise what we have to do to prepare for a show. They don't understand that we have hours of dance moves to learn, that there's hours and hours and hours of rehearsals."
Williams also admits the immediate surge of fame she experienced when she joined the already-established group took her by surprise.
She adds, "Beyonce and Kelly were already used to the idea of celebrity - they'd watched Destiny's Child grow.
"I had to get used to getting my hair done by a hair and make-up artist instead of at a regular salon, to wearing a GUCCI dress instead of regular clothes."
Destiny's Child Stars Defend Softer Tone
The members of sexy trio DESTINY'S CHILD have hit out at accusations they've ditched their strong feminist stance in favour of being subservient to men.
BEYONCE KNOWLES, MICHELLE WILLIAMS and KELLY ROWLAND scored a massive hit with the 2001 anthem INDEPENDENT WOMEN, PT 1, in which they declared their standing as strong females.
But on their new album DESTINY FULFILLED, the track CATER TO YOU has raised eyebrows with such lyrics as, "I'll keep it tight, I'll keep my figure right/ I'll keep my hair fixed, keep rocking the hottest outfits/ When you come home late, tap me on my shoulder, I'll roll over/ Baby I heard you, I'm here to serve you."
But Williams defends, "I think you can be very independent, you can be very successful in your career and then somewhere down the line you find a man that is worthy enough or he finds you. You find that he's worthy enough for you to do all those things.
"I know, growing up, my mama used to tell me, 'You're catering too much to him! Let him come to you!'
"But once you get that man who just loves on you, adores you and respects you and all of that good stuff, you wanna help him take his shoes off - even if his feet ain't that cute!"
Destiny's Child Album Is A Love Story
Destiny's Child new album DESTINY FULFILLED has a twist - the whole recording tells one long love story.
BEYONCE KNOWLES, KELLY ROWLAND and MICHELLE WILLIAMS got together to record their first album together in three years and decided to make it work like a musical, with their current hit track LOSE MY BREATH kicking off the tale of a woman's dissatisfaction with the man in her life.
Knowles explains, "It's so clever because it's written like a musical, and each song goes right into the next.
"It starts off with Lose My Breath, which basically talks about a guy who's talking all of this noise on how he's gonna fulfil you and he's not quite doing what he's saying.
"So we tell him, 'You can't keep up, I need a soldier.' So we describe what kinda man we need; someone that's gonna protect us and make us feel like ladies and women.
"Then (we find) this man (who) deserves it so we say we wanna cater to him. And then we go on to finding out that the guy is not exactly what we thought and we have to depend on our friends to help us get strong again.
"We find the strength and the love within ourselves. And then God brings us true love."
Rowland to wed in March 2005
Destiny's Child star KELLY ROWLAND has announced she and her American football-playing fiance ROY WILLIAMS' will wed in March (05).
DALLAS COWBOYS ace Williams proposed to the BOOTYLICIOUS singer in May (04), and they're now excitedly preparing for their spring nuptials.
She says, "We're getting married in March, and we're so excited. I'm not getting nervous. I'm just so at peace.
"This is a wonderful relationship."
Rowland is also looking forward to when she can become a mother.
She adds, "I love kids so much. I used to want to be a teacher. And one day - after I have my own kids - I want to build a daycare centre."
Destiny's Close-Knit Inner Circle
Destiny's Child refuse to let many people into their tight-knit community, because they fear conmen and fanatical fans.
The girl trio - BEYONCE KNOWLES, KELLY ROWLAND and MICHELLE WILLIAMS - are such close friends they don't miss befriending new people.
Rowland says, "We don't allow too many people inside our circle, because that's just how we are. Once you do, that's another worry. Who will be the one to try and con you?
"We love each other. Period. I love Beyonce and Michelle so much. You know, a friendship like that is such a gift from God. I'm so glad for Destiny's Child."
