Jennifer Aniston

Two-time Emmy Award nominee Jennifer Aniston re-connected with her Greek roots by spending a year of her childhood living in Greece .. and no doubt the influence of noted Greek-American actor Telly Savalas as her godfather further augmented her cultural appreciation. Ultimately, however, she was raised in New York City when her father, actor John Aniston (NBC's "Days of Our Lives"), landed a featured role on the daytime drama "Love of Life." Aniston - who recently earned glowing reviews for her performance in the feature film "The Good Girl" .. had her first taste of acting at age 11 when she joined the Rudolf Steiner School's drama club. Her experience there also helped her develop a passion for art. When she was 11, one of her paintings was selected to be displayed in an exhibit at New York's Metropolitan Museum of Art. Aniston began her professional training as a drama student at New York's High School of the Performing Arts. After her graduation in 1987, she won roles in such off-Broadway productions as "For Dear Life" at New York's Public Theatre and "Dancing on Checker's Grave." In 1989, she landed her first television role as a series regular on "Molloy." Her other television credits include regular roles on "The Edge" and "Ferris Bueller," a recurring part on "Herman's Head" and guest-starring roles on such series as "The Larry Sanders Show," "Partners," "Burke's Law" and "Quantum Leap."
In addition, Aniston has starred in a number of other films, including "The Object of My Affection," "Picture Perfect," "She's the One,"
"`Til There Was You" and "Office Space." She also starred with Quentin Tarantino in the interactive tutorial CD-ROM directed by Steven Spielberg, "Movie Maker." Last year, she appeared opposite Mark Wahlberg in "Rock Star."

In 2001 and 2002, Aniston has been nominated for an Emmy as Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her "Friends" role. As three-time nominee for the People's Choice Award as Favorite Female Television Performer, she won the award in 2001 and 2002. She also received her first Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild nominations in 2002 for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role and Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Comedy Series, respectively.

Currently, Aniston resides in Los Angeles with her husband, actor Brad Pitt. She enjoys painting in her spare time, as well as hiking, camping and virtually anything that brings her closer to nature. Her birthday is February 11, 1969.

Jennifer Aniston Laughs at Irony of 'Breakup' Film

Jennifer Aniston's next movie is called "The Breakup," but she gave no details about her own personal life in her first interview since her highly publicized split from actor-husband Brad Pitt in January.

"There is always going to be the tough and the nasty," Aniston told syndicated TV show "Access Hollywood," referring to rumors and tabloid reports surrounding the Hollywood couple's surprise separation. "You just tune out to that." The interview aired on Monday.

Neither the former "Friends" star nor Pitt have spoken publicly about their decision in January to part company after 4 1/2 years of marriage.

But their silence has done nothing to quell weekly speculation in gossip columns, ranging from tales of a happy reunion to an affair between Pitt and actress Angelina Jolie. Both Pitt and Jolie have denied any romance between them.

Aniston, 36, has been variously reported to be reluctant to have children with Pitt or unwilling to set aside her high-profile career for a quieter, less public life.

But she told "Access Hollywood" that despite being on the receiving end of some negative publicity, she still feels the public is rooting for her. "There has been so much love and support. It feels really good," she said.

Aniston laughed off the irony of her next movie being a romantic comedy titled "The Breakup," about a couple separating. "Well, you know," she said, "I just figured, seize the moment."

Although she has starred in big-screen comedies "Along Came Polly" and "Bruce Almighty," Aniston said she felt she had yet to complete the transition from TV to film.

"I feel like I have got one good foot in there, and we will see if they still want to have me back," she said.

Jennifer Anniston 'tunes out' bad rumors

Jennifer Aniston says she's been able to "tune out" the "tough and the nasty" headlines and rumors surrounding her separation from Brad Pitt.

"There is always going to be the tough and the nasty. You just tune out to that," said Aniston in an interview on "Access Hollywood" to air Monday. Excerpts were released in advance.

Aniston and Pitt, who were married on July 29, 2000, announced their separation in January, after months of tabloid speculation that their marriage was in trouble.

The 36-year-old actress said that despite being on the receiving end of some negative headlines over the past year, she feels the public is rooting for her.

"There has been so much love and support," said Aniston, who starred in NBC's "Friends." "It feels real good."

Aniston also said she doesn't feel like she's made the full transition from television to film actress. "I feel like I have got one good foot in there, and we will see if they still want to have me back," she said. "I've just got to keep making good movies."

Her screen credits include "The Good Girl," "Bruce Almighty," "Along Came Polly" and the upcoming "Derailed," with Clive Owen.

Universal Commits to Aniston for 'Break Up'

Universal Pictures has tapped Jennifer Aniston to star alongside Vince Vaughn in "The Break Up."

Peyton Reed has come on board to direct the comedy, which is slated to begin production in early June for a February release.

Jay Lavender and Jeremy Garelick are penning the script, which is based on an original idea by Vaughn.

Aniston's upcoming projects include starring roles in "Rumor Has It," "Friends With Money" and "Derailed." Her credits include the Universal comedies "Along Came Polly" and "Bruce Almighty."

Reed's credits include "Down With Love" and Universal's "Bring It On."

Jennifer Aniston Named Female Star of the Year

Former "Friends" star Jennifer Aniston, who is of Greek descent, will be celebrating the luck of the Irish in Las Vegas.
The 36-year-old starlet will spend her St. Patrick's Day, March 17, being honored as ShoWest 2005's Female Star of the Year, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

"Jennifer is an amazing actress who has entertained moviegoers and TV viewers alike for over 15 years," says Mitch Neuhauser, co-managing director of the event, which kicks off on March 14. "She is a multitalented actress who has the undeniable ability to entertain audiences across the world."

Other stars being honored include Hayden Christensen and Jessica Biel as the Stars of Tomorrow, "Maria Full of Grace's" Catalina Catalina Sandino Moreno as the International Star of the Year, Bernie Mac as the Comedy Star of the Year and "The Incredibles'" Brad Bird as the Animation Director of the Year.

Aniston's recent credits include "Bruce Almighty" and "Along Came Polly." She next stars in "Rumor Has It," a "Graduate"-inspired comedy by Rob Reiner.

Jennifer Aniston Thrills Fan with Oscars Makeover

Jennifer Aniston helped make an Arizona teenager's Oscars experience extra special by surprising her with a red carpet makeover.

Like many viewers of breakfast show Good Morning America, the former Friends star was inspired by Ashley Tang's determination to become a top student, despite losing both her parents.

And when she heard the show was planning to turn the wannabe broadcaster into their on-site reporter at the 77th Academy Awards on Sunday, she asked if she could help.

Aniston made her first TV appearance since splitting from husband Brad Pitt in January by thrilling Tang and turning up unannounced to help her pick out her Oscars outfit. The actress then presented the 18-year-old with a lucky "guardian angel" diamond bracelet.

Aniston told her young fan, "You are an inspiration, my dear. I'll tell you what, the world needs to see more people like you."

Pitt and Aniston 'heading for divorce'

Friends and fans' hopes that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston will reunite have been dashed, following reports the screen stars are well on their way to divorce.

The rumours of reconciliation started when the two, who split in January, celebrated Aniston's 36th birthday at a party at their Beverly Hills mansion on February 12.

And even Pitt's grandmother Betty Russell declared their split temporary, leading observers to believe that the absence of divorce attorneys was an added positive sign.

But now, sources tell American TV show Celebrity Justice that attorneys haven't entered the picture because Pitt and Aniston are using their business managers to work out all the financial details.

They'll only bring the lawyers in at the very end.

Sources also tell the show that the two stars, who have earned a fortune through their respective acting careers, have always kept their assets separate.

So while they're not expected to quibble over who gets what in their settlement, sources say that the only possible sticking point is their $17m (€13m) Beverly Hills estate which they both invested in to buy and improve.

Celebrity Justice reports that when the lawyers are brought in and the couple officially files for divorce, the marriage will end quickly and simply.

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston break up reaches London

The fallout from the breakup of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston reached Madame Tussauds of London where a wax statue of the couple had to be broken up.
A wax replica of the celebrity couple had been the London attraction's first joined-together figures, holding each other in a tender embrace, the Sun reported Friday.

Now officials at Tussauds have had to spend $18,900 to replace one of Pitt's arms and Aniston's torso. Less intimate versions of the two were scheduled to go on display Friday.

"It was all a bit embarrassing so they had to change it," a museum source told the Sun.

Brad 'n' Jen's flame is slow to go out

Not only are Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston refusing to split with the acrimony and name-calling we've come to expect from our celebrity divorces, but now they're teasing us, too.
The New York Daily News reports that the world's most perfect couple are still wearing their wedding rings - and living in the same Beverly Hills house. Not only that, but Pitt and Aniston were spotted holding hands last week at LA restaurant L'Orangerie.

And sure to jump-start Aniston Bellywatch 2005: A pal tells Star magazine that Jen is going into therapy to overcome "fears about bringing a baby into a marriage she felt has been less than perfect."

Pitt's grandmother, Betty Russell, tells the tab: "The whole family is praying that Brad and Jen can work out what they need to."

But Aniston's buzz-killing rep, Stephen Huvane, calls the therapy reports "complete rubbish."

As for the dinner, he assures, "Nothing has changed regarding Brad and Jennifer's announcement of their separation. . . . They remain caring and loving friends."

Aniston Dating 'Derailed' Co-Star?

Movie beauty Jennifer Aniston has fueled speculation she's dating her "Derailed" co-star Vincent Cassel by spending most of her free time with the French actor.
The 35-year-old actress -- who separated from her husband of four years, Brad Pitt, earlier this month -- became close to 38-year-old Cassel while filming their latest movie on location in Chicago and London.

And the relationship has continued in Los Angeles, where post-production work on the film continues, reports British newspaper the Daily Star.

A close source says, "There's real chemistry between them. When they're together they speak almost in whispers, with eye contact all the time.

"Sometimes she will give that laugh, broad smile and play flirtatiously with her hair. If pressed, she'll tell you that Vincent is very close and very dear to her. But he seems much more than an agony uncle."

Brad Pitt And Jennifer Aniston Will Get Back Together Says Gran

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston will get back together, according to the Hollywood heartthrob's grandmother.

Betty Russell claims the couple, who announced their split after four years of marriage last month, are only on a trial separation and will rekindle their love in the near future.

She is quoted by Britain's More Magazine as saying: "I'm sure this is just a temporary thing. Brad and Jennifer are beautiful people. They've always been so happy."

Betty, who is extremely close to Brad, also said the family were shocked when her famous grandson told them his marriage was over. She added: "It was like a bolt from the blue when he called to say they were separating. I was shocked. Brad never gave any hint that something might be up.
"They are both precious and have too much love to throw it all away. They just need to spend a little time apart before they realise how much they miss each other. I'm praying for it."

It has also been claimed that Brad and Jennifer have enjoyed a romantic meal together - sparking yet further speculation they are set to get back together.

The couple, who pledged to remain "committed and caring friends" when they split, dined at Los Angeles swanky L'Orangerie restaurant and onlookers were amazed at how relaxed they were in each other's company.

One told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Brad and Jennifer came in giggling and holding hands, they looked totally happy. It was a complete shock. It was if the past few weeks hadn't happened. Over dinner they couldn't keep their hands off each other."

Ali G Homeless After Aniston Throws Him Out Of Flat

The split of Hollywood golden couple JENNIFER ANISTON and BRAD PITT has left British comedian SACHA BARON COHEN and his fiancee homeless.

The ALI G star and sexy actress ISLA FISHER - who met Aniston at the 2003 EMMY AWARDS - have been paying the 35-year-old FRIENDS star $1,600 (£3,000) rent a month to stay in her luxury $2 million (£1.1 million) Hollywood Hills home.

However the couple have now been forced to find a new pad after Aniston kicked them out following her shock split from the Hollywood hunk last month (JAN05).
Aniston - who has been staying with her hairdresser CHRIS McMILLAN since the separation - is now fuelling speculation of an imminent move.

A maid confirms, "Sacha and Isla don't live here anymore, but I don't know where they went." Cohen and Fisher - who are now searching LA for a home of their own - are due to wed in the actress's hometown of Perth, Australia, later this year (05.

Jennifer Aniston stars in "Along Came Polly"

Jennifer Aniston was fashionably late for our brief interview in a Los Angeles hotel, and freely admits that tardiness is one her least attractive faults. "Yean I tend to be late," she explains, somewhat sweetly as we set about trying to ascertain what aspects of her personality she likes the least, as it pertains to her latest character in the new romantic comedy, Along Came Polly. "I'm maybe too sensitive and perhaps I sometimes talk too much. Just ask my husband, who could say 'Talks too much.' I only pick when the game is on. I pick that time." Not that this same talkativeness applies to interviews. To the print media, at least, Aniston comes across as surprisingly shy and insecure, which is unusual given the kinds of comically verbose characters we're used to seeing the 34-year old California native play on screen. From Rachel Green, the role synonymous with Aniston's career, through to characters in the likes of Office Space, The Good Girl, Bruce Almighty and Along Came Polly, Aniston is wildly irreverent. These days, the actress is preparing to bid farewell to Friends, a subject that comes up all the time, but one she freely accepts. Aniston admits that it has been difficult trying to find characters far removed from her television persona "because Rachel has become the universal female. She was a lot more 'princessy' and spoiled in the beginning, but that's why a movie like Along Came Polly was really fun. It is hard to find scripts like this where it's so just character driven, the story is simple and not contrived in any way, which I love."

In Along Came Polly, Aniston stars as a free spirit who teaches a conservative Ben Stiller how to loosen up after being jilted by his wife on his honeymoon. It's a role tailor-made for Aniston who admits that the fictional Polly and the actress share one common trait. "I think we share a commitment phobia at certain times, in terms of making big plans. Not relationship commitments but I usually like to make options for myself as opposed to plans. I feel like I'm a little bit of between Ben's Ruben and Polly." Not that Aniston hasn't made some huge plans in her life, apart from her very healthy marriage to fellow superstar Brad Pitt, the couple spent almost a year preparing to live in a new house, which Jennifer actively helped decorate. "We have to get furniture though, but we're in." And even Friends, which is now in its 10th and final season, was a huge commitment for the actress, though of course she had no idea what the impact of that series would ultimately have on her life. Looking back on those 10 years, she jokes that one aspect of her that has developed is her hair. "Well, I'm glad it finally grew out. I didn't like that too much. You just see all of us with like baby fat, and we're just little 24 and 25 year olds." She adds that looking back, Friends was almost another life for her, "but it also feels like it's just happened. I don't know where the 10 years have really gone."

Nor did Aniston expect the kind of almost surreal fame and adulation that came over time. The actress remains the show's most photographed cast member and one of the most photographed celebrities in the world. "That kind of thing is always weird and that will always be a weird thing but I don't really know why. I think, it is bizarre and I almost don't feel like I want to become ok with it because it is just so unacceptable sometimes to the degrees that some people will go to. Some of it of course is fine and not a problem. Oddly enough in the beginning, I remember going out with Schwimmer and people came up to me and asked me if he was on Friends." What a difference a decade makes!

Now that the reality of its demise is hitting the cast, Aniston says that this final year, leading to the series' bone hour finale, "is one of the hardest things I have ever gone through." Asked if her life is expected to change drastically when it's all over, Aniston pauses. "Hopefully it will be pretty seamless but it will be different. There will be a huge void but with a bit of luck there will be life after Friends," she offers, smilingly.

That life, of course, includes creating a raising a family. "That's definitely next and I'm excited about it. I think we're good and ready to dive in. It was all about letting Friends be over as I really wanted that chapter of my life to kind of come to a close and then have something to do." In terms of juggling motherhood with her career, that's a no-brainer. "I have so many girlfriends that can do all of it and I know I will want to be around for a lot of it. I'm going to try not to work that much but I'd love an excuse to stay home."

The genuine affection Aniston has of her Friends TV cast is real, and testament to the bond felt between this group. It is also the show that finely tuned Aniston as an award-winning comedic actress. She happily admits that at her core, she remains a comedienne, admitting that her penchant of comedy comes from "a dysfunctional family. It was a survival technique for me, growing u, just with parents bickering. If you can make somebody laugh it would always lighten up the room." Inspired by "Carol Burnett, Lucy and Mary Tyler Moore", Aniston admits she was always the class clown. "I was put in the hallway a lot. That's what we did at our school: 'Go stand in the hall'." School for Aniston the famed Rudolph Steiner, where no doubt her love of acting came from. "It really develops the creative part of the brain. There are no textbooks. You illustrate your own text books and take dictation and have your main lesson on the Middle Ages or whatever and just create your own books. Or they stick an instrument in your hand in first grade and you go into a room filled with violins, cellos and flutes and they're just there for you to just choose what you want to - I've played every instrument. I don't know how strong it was on the academic side but creatively it was extraordinary - knitting, sculpting and woodcarving and all that."

And from that experience grew a love of performing. 10 years after Friends made her a star, Jennifer Aniston has developed into a well-rounded human being. As for her future, there are babies to be conceived and a movie career that's consistently good to her, but not necessarily more television. "The truth is, it's not that I wouldn't do television again, but I just don't know how I'd follow Friends which is a tough act to follow." If she DID do any TV soon, it would be as a guest star on fellow cast member Matt Le Blanc's post-Friends spin off, Joey. "That'd be next, TV-wise; I'm so proud of him".

Aniston & Stiller Team Up For Rocky Romance Comedy

She may well have one her first Golden Globe, but Friends star Jennifer Aniston is busier than ever, as DH correspondent PAUL FISCHER discovered in this one and only online interview, when he met her on the set of her latest movie in which she stars opposite Ben Stiller.

Jennifer Aniston was looking a little weary when we met. "I'm a bit nauseous" she explains smilingly. No, the beautiful award-winning Friends star is not pregnant, but she and comic actor Ben Stiller are shooting a film together, part of which takes place within the tight confines of a boat cabin rocking intensely. "I feel like I'm on one of those Universal thrill rides", the good-natured actress laughingly adds. We're on a makeshift soundstage as part of a large complex in South-western Los Angeles. Aniston and Ben Stiller have teamed up in an as yet untitled romantic comedy directed by John Hamburg, best known as the writer of such hit comedies as Meet the Parents and Zoolander, coincidentally all starring Ben Stiller.

In what is currently known as The Untitled John Hamburg Project, Stiller portrays insurance risk-assessor Reuben Feffer, whose best-laid plans for life and love zoom wildly off track when his wife (Debra Messing) dumps him on their honeymoon for a French and wacky scuba instructor (Hank Azaria). Stunned, humiliated and in the grip of acute indigestion, Reuben plans to play it safer than ever. But a chance encounter with an adventure-craving, globe-trotting friend from high school (Aniston) shoots him into a whirlwind of extreme sports, spicy foods, ferrets, salsa dancing and living in the moment. The nausea-generated scene the pair of actors is shooting when we meet, is a fight scene, Stiller explains. "Jennifer and I are having a fight on board this sailboat that's being skippered by this crazy Australian millionaire adventurer guy [played by Bryan Brown]. I invited her away for the weekend and we end up getting into it and we basically break up in this scene." Aniston, casually dressed in accordance with her character, describes this latest screen character, Polly Prince, "as this eccentric and wild old friend of Reuben's from school. They haven't seen each other since then and they kind of meet up years later." Stiller continues the conversation explaining that the two. "We were in junior high together, delegates at the model United Nations. I walk in on my wife having sex with this scuba instructor guy. I go back home and my whole life has been geared towards this marriage, and having kids. He's a guy who's set in his ways," while Aniston's character, she adds, "is just the opposite in that she's commitment-phobic, no plan and lives by the seat of my pants."

It is clear that these two actors, who are currently among Hollywood's A-list stars, have genuine comic chemistry, feeding amongst each other and having fun. That is no surprise given the fact that Stiller and Aniston worked together once previously - on an episode of Friends, no less. "I played this really angry character who spent the entire episode yelling at everyone." While the pair hadn't seen each other since working on Aniston's much lauded sitcom, watching the pair work together on set makes it clear that the actors have genuine chemistry. "We just love having fun and this piece with this director makes that so much easier", Aniston says. Aniston admits that she based her latest screen character on someone she knows. "She's 100% modeled on a girlfriend of mine named Daryl, in that she travels all over the place, she's a spendthrift and lovely in every way."

For this recent Golden Globe winner, who recently won additional acclaim for her portrayal of The Good Girl, the challenge is to find characters beyond the scope of Friends' Rachel Green. "I'm constantly looking for that challenge, and it's hard, because you have to go very far from Rachel, because she is a very universal character in terms of this girl from New York. It's something I want to do consciously so that I will have more opportunities," explains the beautiful actress. "I just want to be able to not be boxed in and kept doing one thing." Even while shooting Friends and this latest movie simultaneously, Aniston doesn't see it as a challenge swapping characters in the course of a day, given her hectic schedule. "Because I've been doing Friends for so long, it's become second nature." Even at the beginning of this film, Aniston was completing work on her previous movie, Bruce Almighty, so at one point the actress was juggling THREE characters simultaneously. One would have forgiven her for becoming somewhat confused. "It's really not that hard; you just come in, put your clothes on and there's your character." Trying to find time to relax with hubbie Brad Pitt and her family is far more of a challenge, she says. "Well I do a little tired and I wouldn't mind a bit of extra time for some much needed family and love," Jennifer adds smilingly. For Aniston, this is the best time in her life: She stars in a hit series, has won both the Emmy and Golden Globe, she continues to be in high demand and there is that wonderful marriage. Aniston is clearly having the time of her life. "I'd say I'm having a pretty good time but then I've had some great times throughout my career but this year is pretty lovely." As for her recent Golden Globe win, Aniston remains surprised. "We've gone through years and years of never getting ANYTHING and though that doesn't bother us, when we do win something it's quite a shock." It also makes her "want to keep on doing my work, like I've been doing." Including another season of the hit show which she says she remains excited about

Jennifer Aniston 'tried to save marriage'

Brad Pitt rejected an attempt from Jennifer Aniston to save their marriage, according to a report in Closer magazine.

The report said Aniston feared she had driven Brad away by constantly refusing his requests for them to start a family — so she planned a birthday surprise for him: a gift-wrapped pregnancy test kit with a note that read: "I'm now ready for a baby".

According to the magazine, Jennifer told friends she planned to give it to Pitt on 18th December, his 41st birthday, while they were in London.

Jennifer (35) was in London filming 'Derailed' and her husband was due to promote his new movie with George Clooney and Catherine Zeta-Jones, 'Ocean's Twelve'.

"The crunch came in London. She wanted to convince people everything was alright," a source said. "But she hit the roof when Brad told her he no longer recognised the person he was with."

The straw that broke the camel's back came when the couple went to the Caribbean to attempt to pick up the pieces — but Brad returned to Los Angeles to watch a football match.

Jolie slams Brad-Jen rumors

'Tomb Raider' star Angelina Jolie slammed reports she destroyed Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's marriage, insisting she was just Pitt's "shoulder to cry on".

According to a report on IMDb.com, Jolie said: "I've been painted as the Wicked Witch of the West and a marriage wrecker. But all I've ever been to Brad is a shoulder to cry on."

She hinted that the reason for the couple's split was Brad's desperation to have children.

"I was there to try to help him through his pain," she said. "He longs to be a father and he's been in emotional turmoil for a long time because that hasn't happened for him."

'Don't say Jen', Pitt fans told

Hollywood hunk Brad Pitt was swarmed by reporters and fans on Thursday as he jetted into Japan on his first appearance since his shock break-up with Jennifer Aniston, though all near him were warned not to mention her name.

Pitt, his finger no longer circled with the famous wedding ring designed uniquely for for the pair, was on a scheduled visit to promote his new film and his publicists worked tirelessly to ensure that remained the topic.

With several reporters flying from Hollywood hoping for a big scoop, foreign media were kept at the door as the bare-fingered Pitt, in a leather jacket and trademark blond stubble, told a press conference what a hit "Ocean's Twelve" would be.

The 700 reporters and 150 cameramen covering the event had to promise not to release their footage to foreign media and were put under gag orders against asking about the demise of one of the world's most glamorous couples.

The Daily Sports tabloid reported Pitt cancelled all 10 interviews slated with Japanese television on Thursday.

According to media reports, Pitt's co-star George Clooney turned to be Pitt's protector, beginning the press conference by joking, "I know that there has been a certain topic on everyone's lips for the past few days, so I am happy to tell you that my neck is all right".

'Ocean's Twelve' stars Pitt, Clooney and Matt Damon arrived on a private jet late Wednesday at Narita airport, where hundreds of screaming fans took photos of the stars with their mobile telephones.

When one reporter at the airport dared ask why Pitt was back on the singles market, Clooney butted in.

"Shame on you!" Clooney told the reporter as Pitt, smiled and signed autographs.

Aniston and Pitt announced last Friday they were calling it quits after four-and-a-half years, sending Hollywood media into a frenzy to figure out what had happened.

Pitt and Aniston, anticipating a rain of speculation, tried last week to shoot down the rumours.

"This decision is the result of much thoughtful consideration. We happily remain committed and caring friends with great love and admiration for one another," they said in a statement.

Divorce War May Loom

A bitter court battle looks to be on the cards for former golden couple Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston.

Friends say a tug-of-war could develop over their £100m fortune - because they never made a pre-nuptial agreement.

Brad, 41, and Jen, 37, have promised to remain on good terms despite the break-up of their four-year-old marriage.

But observers reckon their good intentions are unlikely to hold up under the strain.

One source said: "Lawyers are already giving them advice that is not in the other's best interest.

"That's the way it goes in Hollywood. A major row is on the cards. It's only a matter of time."

Industry pundit Harvey Levins told The People: "The word in the divorce community is nobody did a pre-nup.

"That's surprising because of the huge sum of money involved."

The couple are reputed to own an £8m house, a ranch, a £3m yacht, a fleet of cars and a film production company.

Jennifer Aniston seeks solace from her hairdresser!

After her split with hubby Brad Pitt, Jennifer Aniston is seeking comfort from celebrity crimper Chris McMillan.
The top hairdresser, credited for creating her famous hairstyle known simply as 'The Rachel' has been Jen's confidant for several years and the actress is said to have immediately turned to him after the couple finally called it a day last Friday.

"Chris has been a great shoulder to cry on over the years and he is there for her now," a source was quoted by the Sun, as saying.

Not All Is Lost for Jennifer And Brad

There's still hope for Hollywood's golden couple Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, their friends believe.

The two are still in love, but took a temporary "step back" to see if they want to stay together, according to a US magazine.

One friend reportedly told People magazine: "The separation is a step back to see if their relationship is going to be forever or if it's not.

"They're searching for the answer, which is not an easy one to come up with."

Aniston, 35, is said to be distraught at being apart from her husband, Ananova.com reports.

Speculation about a reconciliation has reportedly been fuelled by the fact that they have not visited a divorce lawyer.

The two announced their split at the weekend.

Phone sex with Jolie killed Jennifer's marriage?

Hollywood's once golden couple Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston shared a plane back to Los Angeles as rumours, that the Troy star had cheated on the Friends actress, with Angelina Jolie did the rounds.

Brad and Aniston had spent one week together on the Caribbean island of Anguilla before deciding to end their four-year marriage.

The handsome actor is to due to fly to Japan in about a week to promote the movie Ocean's Twelve, and Aniston is shooting for a new movie elsewhere, as their luxurious 13.5 million pounds Beverly Hills love nest lies deserted.

The now separated couple, however, is putting a brave face on the split and have refused to talk of the reasons that led to their break-up.

"I don't think anyone really knows what their issues are. But, they're making the best of this.

They're both committed to remaining friends. It's not the end of the world," The New York Daily News quoted a close friend of Brad as saying.

But, the separation of Hollywood's hottest couple has further fuelled speculations about Brad's rumoured romance with his sexy co-star in forthcoming flick, Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

Jolie and Brad reportedly had a steamy affair while working together in the movie, and Aniston found out about it when she listened in on a phone call and heard the two having phone sex.

Pitt(iful) breakup for Jennifer Aniston

Divorce is no stranger in Hollywood. But people believed Brad and Jen were different, they were suppose to be the perfect match…

The Hollywood fairytale has disappointed us again. Hunky Brad Pitt and his wife Jennifer Aniston are separating. Their marriage lasted almost five years - a tinsel town record where many marriages end before the couple can say ‘till death do us part.

In the official statements, they give no reasons for their divorce, except to say, “our separation is not the result of any speculation reported by the tabloid media. This decision is the result of much thoughtful consideration.” Being a fair and objective journalist, it’s my duty to give you both sides of the story and tell you exactly what this "speculation reported by the tabloid media" is.

Apparently, it all started…

In February, 2004, when Brad and Angelina Jolie were filming the new thriller, Mr. & Mrs. Smith together. In the film they are husband and wife, but according to the London tabloid, News of the World, they were "practising" off set as well. Jen must have thought this is a thriller of a different kind.

Rumours started spreading. Probably the worst being that Angelina refused to wear the protective flesh-coloured underwear actors use for sex scenes. According to the website Philly.com, a nosy source revealed, “She told the wardrobe girl, 'I won't need that'. The two of them filmed their sex scenes fully naked, which is unusual."

In September when Brad and Angelina were called to Victorville, California for "reshoots" of the film Mr. & Mrs. Smith they stayed in rooms 612 and 615 and demanded no-one else may have access to the floor.

The next clue of possible infidelity were according to News of the World the numerous telephone conversations they had in "hushed voices".

And then came the bust. Ananova.com reports Jen overheard one of their steamy telephone conversations when picking up a phone extension in their Beverly Hills mansion, she went “ballistic”. Apparently, Brad knew it was over after that.
So why would Brad cheat on his lovely wife?

One of the big problems at the heart of the relationship was probably their different feelings about starting a family. Brad wants to become a daddy and Jen wants to focus on her movie career. According to the The Independent newspaper Jen said, “I don't want to be remembered for playing a fashionable airhead in Friends. I want to make serious movies. No one remembers Robin Williams from Mork and Mindy."

Angelina Jolie a.k.a Miss Maternal on the other hand, is not only hot but has great motherly instincts. News of the World reported their source as saying, "The way Angelina makes her adopted son Maddox her number one priority really melted him (Brad). She simply stole Brad's heart."

Why are people so upset about Brad and Jen’s break-up?

Divorce stats say you have a 50% chance of "surviving" marriage. Truth is, we all want to believe in perfect Hollywood love, like in the movies. We want to believe in ever after and fairly tales. Brad and Jen’s break-up just spoiled that for us. Maybe we're suffering from our own shattered expectations.

On the other hand it might be that we watch so many movies, we start to confuse movie-love with real love. We expect fireworks and romance and love to last forever. If our A-list couple can’t experience fairytale love, what chance do we have?

Simpson and Lachey Sorry for Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston

While the rumors proved true about the marriage of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, they haven't come home to roost for another Hollywood couple: Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey.

Simpson, whose two-year-old marriage to Lachey has been the subject of considerable media speculation, is sympathetic to Pitt and Aniston's situation.

"Any marriage is tough," Simpson told the syndicated TV entertainment show "Access Hollywood" in an interview that aired Monday night. "You go through struggles and it's work. You have to make it happen."

On Friday, Pitt and Aniston issued a statement saying they were separating after 4 1/2 years of marriage.

"For those who follow these sorts of things, we would like to explain that our separation is not the result of any speculation reported by the tabloid media," the actors said.

In November, Simpson denied rumors that she and Lachey were on the rocks, telling People magazine, "Our relationship is better than it's ever been. We are absolutely not breaking up."

The pop singer and co-star of the MTV reality show "Newlyweds: Nick & Jessica" admires the way Pitt and Aniston dealt with their breakup.

"I think they probably issued a statement because they thought they owed it to their fans," Simpson said. "There are people who are fans of them together, and it's good to hear from the person and not believe the lies."

Others in Hollywood also reacted to the split.

"I'm shocked," said Matt LeBlanc, who co-starred on the hit NBC sitcom "Friends" with Aniston.

''People'' Reveals Details Behind Aniston and Pitt Breakup

The breakup of one of Hollywood's most celebrated couples has entertainment writers around the world scrambling to answer the question why.

Peter Castro, executive editor of "People" magazine — the publication that broke the story of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston's separation — told ABC News' "Good Morning America" that the decision was ultimately up to Aniston.

"A source close to the couple told 'People' magazine that it was Jennifer's decision to break it off," Castro said. "He [Pitt] was half a step behind her on this. He wasn't terribly happy either."

Castro says Pitt's desire for children likely played a large role in the couple's decision to separate.

While Pitt told ABC News' Diane Sawyer that he wanted children in a recent interview, Aniston wasn't singing the same tune, according to Castro.

"You could tell the emotion and see it in his [Pitt's] heart, this is what he wanted more than anything," Castro said. "But she wasn't there with him. The timing was off."

Pitt's publicist told "People" about the couple's plans to "formally separate" days after Pitt and Aniston jetted off for what seemed like a romantic getaway.

The couple joined Aniston's former "Friends" co-star Courteney Cox and her husband, actor David Arquette, on the Caribbean island of Anguilla over New Year's weekend.

Castro says it's likely that the couple decided to take the trip despite their plans to split.

"They knew long before they took this vacation that they were not going to remain together, or at least separate," Castro said. "And they decided, you know, we told Courteney Cox and David Arquette, their best friends, we were going on this trip … let's go ahead and make the best of it and see what happens," he said.

Castro says "People" is releasing a special issue with the cover story "Why They Split" this week because the separation is such big news in Hollywood.

Since their lavish July 29, 2000, wedding, Pitt, 41, and Aniston, 35, have become the most powerful couple in the Hollywood film industry.

What's It Like to Be Jennifer Aniston?

She's been beguiling America for 10 years. Jennifer Aniston is the fresh-faced woman every woman in America wants to be, and every man in America hopes will move in next door.

Yet in less than 24 hours, Friends, the show that brought her and a little group of unknown actors from Stage 5 at Warner Brothers to that 1-in-a-million chance at superstardom, is set to tape its last episode. It will be broadcast in March.

With so many moments to remember before the lights go dark, Aniston spoke to ABCNEWS' Diane Sawyer about what has happened so far — as well as what's to come, like her upcoming movie, Along Came Polly, in which she plays an eccentric free-spirit who loosens up a straitlaced Ben Stiller.

Among the most pressing questions Aniston faces these days concerns the fate of her eccentric, high-strung alter ego Rachel — and what will happen to her relationship with fellow Friend Ross, played by David Schwimmer.

At the time of the interview, Aniston insisted she didn't know, but noted that the show's writers have always kept things interesting. "One of the things I'm going to miss is running out to my mailbox — grabbing my script and seeing what happens."

As for what would happen the morning after the show ends, Aniston says she hasn't thought about it. "I'm just hoping I'll get through the night!" she told Sawyer.

Family Ties

Sawyer interviewed Aniston at a hotel suite overlooking all of her hometown Manhattan landmarks, like the building where she went to school, the restaurant where she waitressed, and her home at 92nd and Columbus.

In the early years, it was filled with laughter, she says, surrounded by her father, Greek-born actor John Aniston; her mother, Nancy, a former model; and half brother, Johnny.

She treasures the memory of the poker parties her dad held with his actor friends. "[They] would come and sing songs around the piano and play charades and they were just funny," she said.

But when she was 9 years old, she came home from a birthday party one day to have her mother tell her that her father had decided to move out, and Johnny would be leaving, too. She and her mother were alone.

"He was quick," Aniston said, laughing. "I think it was like ripping off a Band-Aid — probably be easier that way."

Mother and daughter were inseparable until 1996, when Aniston had become a superstar and was struggling to keep some privacy despite the glare of the endless cameras.

First, her mother gave an interview to a tabloid TV show, and later wrote a book about their relationship. Aniston feels it was a betrayal , and it caused a bitter rupture that lasts until this day.

"She made a mistake, and I don't think she knew any better," Aniston said. Yet, the actress admits she has a rough time letting go of her hurt and anger.

"I tried. You know, I've definitely tried," she said. But she also suggests it might not be enough. "Now we're sort of all standing in our corners, just waiting for the other to approach, probably."

Aniston told there is one sentence she would like most to hear from her mother: "'I'm sorry, I get it.' " Aniston laughed. "It's that simple."

Life With Brad

Now, Aniston's family is a circle of loving friends from the old days, before sitcom stardom. And there's also her husband, Brad Pitt, who's famously close to his own parents. But on the day they got married, Nancy Aniston was not invited. She still has never met her movie star son-in-law. "I never thought my mom would not know my husband," Aniston said, fighting back tears.

The glamorous couple went on their first date in 1998. It was arranged — where else but in Hollywood?— by their matchmaking agents. Aniston says she knew Pitt was right for her right away. "We both did — on our first date. It was weird."

It was also "fantastic," she said. But she goes on to say that feeling only lasts for so long. "Love is work," she said. "And so you gotta make your choice — if that's what [is] most important to you."

Aniston acknowledges she's the more neurotic of the two. She not only talks in her sleep, but walks in her sleep, too.

She told of one night when she woke up outside, by the pool, with the security alarm going off. "That was scary," she said. "Brad screaming my name, 'cause the alarm's going off , and I'm not in bed. He was terrified."

As for who's more jealous, Aniston said, "We worked on that one — we got rid of that one … We've knocked that, that one out." As in the case of any Hollywood couple, there have been rumors about whether they will stick together. But Aniston dismisses any such speculation. "I can't imagine being with any other human being," she said. "I married him because he was the love of my life."

Aniston has said that after Friends, she'd like to have children. "I've liked working right now — I really love it," she says. "But I also feel that this'll be probably the most important job I'll ever do, having a baby, so that deserves time like my career deserves time."

The press has reported that just how many children is still in dispute. Pitt has said in interviews he'd like to have as many as seven, while Aniston has said two or three. "I think that's gotten blown way out of proportion," she said. "We'd definitely love to have two — at least."

About the Friends

Aniston's family is yet to come, but what about her Friends? Sawyer asked Aniston to tell ABCNEWS what we don't know about each of her Friends — and what they don't even know about themselves.

About Courteney Cox, who plays Monica: "She does not know how — half how gorgeous she is. Has no clue," Aniston said. "I'm not talking physical … She's one of the funniest people on the planet, and I don't think she really thinks that she is.

"Lisa [Kudrow, who plays Phoebe] does have a big, huge heart, whether she likes to say that she's very cold and standoffish, but she's like a warm fire."

About Matthew Perry, who plays Chandler: "That he's all right … he's struggled," Aniston said. Perry has battled an addiction to prescription painkillers, and his castmates have tried to help him.

About Matt LeBlanc, who plays Joey: "I wonder if he realizes the depths of his talent. He's got a lot more in there than just being funny."

As for David Schwimmer, who plays Ross: "He knows everything," Aniston laughed. "I wonder if he believes that he'll make an amazing husband and I think he will."

And Jennifer Aniston herself? "She's OK. She's all right, too."

Asked about Friends, Aniston replied: "I don't know what you call it — a soul-cluster that just found itself."

"It is hard for me to find the word — what is — what was Friends?" she says. "Friends was — fantastic. It was — I bet I'll be able to say it was the time of my life."

Close encounter bothered Jennifer Aniston

Sultry Angelina Jolie "got under" Brad Pitt's skin while they shot a movie together last year, in a sexless but too-tight relationship that "bothered" Jennifer Aniston, pals say.
And though it was Aniston who first pushed for their shocking split, Pitt was just a step behind her - a decision the couple made before heading to the Caribbean for what may have been a staged picture-perfect weekend, People magazine is reporting.

The red-hot Jolie and hunky Pitt became slightly more than fast friends while filming "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," a sure-to-be blockbuster due out in June about a husband-wife secret agent team who are hired to kill each other.

"Jennifer knows that Angelina got under his skin, and it bothered her," a source told People in its latest edition.

Another source linked to the film told the mag that Pitt never broke his vows.

"They did not sleep with each other," but Pitt "was obviously taken by Angelina."

He adored Jolie's 3-year-old son, Maddox, and admired her social activism: Jolie is a goodwill ambassador for the United Nation's refugee agency, another source said.

"He changed," the source told the mag. "It might have been slight, but it's noticeable. And Jennifer knew it."

But Pitt's pals poured water on a steamy report in a British tabloid that Aniston caught the "Ocean's Twelve" star and Jolie having phone sex, and they insisted he has always been loyal to his "Friends" wife of 4-1/2 years.

"I was out with Brad a few months ago at Bungalow 8," a friend told the Daily News. "Every gorgeous woman there was trying to get near him, but he wasn't paying attention to any of them. He wasn't on the make at all."

But battling the nonstop rumors of an on-set liaison between Jolie and Pitt likely did not help the marriage, which was rumored to be rocky and already stressed by their diverging careers and different family desires.

"[Aniston] has been resisting having a child for a number of reasons," a source told People.

The mag cited a pal who said Aniston wanted to wait "until she was sure what was happening to their relationship."

"I think it was Jen that broke it off," another source said, but "he was a half step behind her."

The pair had already settled on a separation before their New Year's trip to Anguilla with "Friends" friend Courteney Cox and her hubby, David Arquette, and decided, "We should still go and have a great time," according to People.

A witness recalled the couple being reserved out of the camera's eye at dinner one night, but once the photogs caught up to them, "they put their arms around each other and had these big smiles on their faces."

Once home, they called friends and family together to let them know about the split before it hit the papers - though the calls were not weepy, and the split may not be permanent.

"The separation is a step back to see if their relationship is going to be forever or if it's not," a source told People. "They're searching for the answer, which is not an easy one to come up with."

The potential business fallout on their jointly owned production company, Plan B, remains unclear, but Hollywood insiders are speculating the firm will now dissolve.

Jennifer Aniston refuses to be a mum

ACTRESS Jennifer Aniston ended her marriage to heart-throb husband Brad Pitt during a bitter row in London last month, friends of the couple revealed yesterday.

The showdown took place at the Dorchester Hotel when Aniston, 35, told Pitt, 41, she wanted to put movies before motherhood.

The star of the TV hit Friends said she did not want to be remembered only as "airhead" Rachel.

A source said: "Jennifer was the one who called the shots while she was in London finishing her movie Derailed. The marriage was over then and it was her decision.

"She told Brad she was not ready to settle down and wasn't prepared to give up her career. Jennifer feels that career-wise there's a lot left for her to fulfil.
"Her words were: `I don't want to be remembered for playing a fashionable airhead. I want to make serious movies. No one remembers Robin Williams from Mork and Mindy. '

"She also hated the fact Brad would go on about wanting to start a family when she had told him she wasn't ready. They went away for a holiday but, after the first day, it was clear the relationship had grown very cold.

"Brad said they spent the rest of the holiday working out how they would release the news of the split.

"They worked out together the reasons they would give and how they would protect the brand they have built up."

The pair, who wed 4 1/2 years ago, announced on Friday they were officially separating.

They denied a third party was involved – a reference to suggestions Pitt had become involved with Hollywood star Angelina Jolie.

British newspaper The News of the World reported yesterday the break-up was prompted by a phone-sex session between Pitt and Jolie – who worked together in the film Mr & Mrs Smith. "Jennifer listened in on the conversation via another house extension. I don't know if she accidentally picked up the phone or deliberately did that. Either way, she went ballistic," a source told the paper.

A statement from the pair said: "We happily remain committed and caring friends with great love and admiration for one another."

Why Jennifer Aniston left Brad Pitt

JENNIFER Aniston ended her marriage to heart-throb Brad Pitt during a bitter row in London last month, their friends said last night.

The final showdown took place at the Dorchester Hotel when Aniston, 35, told Pitt, 41, that she wanted to put movies ahead of motherhood.

The Friends star said she didn't want to be remembered only as airhead Rachel from the sitcom and needed to establish a serious career.

And though friends claim Aniston's career was the deciding factor, speculation continues to rage about Pitt's relationship with actor Angelina Jolie - a UK newspaper yesterday reporting the pair shared an intense year-long relationship.

A source said: "Jennifer was the one who called the shots while she was in London finishing her movie Derailed.

Hot Hollywood Couple Jennifer and Brad Splits Up

Hollywood glamour couple Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston have split, his publicist confirmed Friday.

"We would like to announce that after seven years together we have decided to formally separate," the couple said in a statement.

"For those who follow these sorts of things, we would like to explain that our separation is not the result of any speculation reported by the tabloid media," the actors said.

The couple didn't indicate if they plan to divorce, and publicist Cindy Guagenti declined to comment beyond the statement, which also said, "We happily remain committed and caring friends with great love and admiration for one another."

The separation, first reported on People magazine's Web site, comes 4 1/2 years after the pair's wedding and after months of speculation that their marriage was in trouble.

Aniston has recently been photographed in public without her diamond-studded wedding ring, according to People, although the magazine said the couple had spent the New Year's weekend together on the Caribbean island of Anguilla with Aniston's former "Friends" co-star Courteney Cox and her husband, actor David Arquette.

Pitt, 41, and Aniston, 35, have been together since being set up on a blind date in 1998. They were married in a lavish wedding on July 29, 2000, on a Malibu estate overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Some 200 people attended the event, which included four bands, a gospel choir, fireworks and tens of thousands of flowers.

Part of Pacific Coast Highway was shut down to accommodate the influx of guests, which included actress Cameron Diaz and most of Aniston's "Friends" co-stars. It was the first marriage for both.

Until rumors began swirling that they were about to split, there were near-constant tabloid rumors that Aniston was pregnant. The actress had told People in 2002 that she and Pitt eventually wanted to start a family.

"Absolutely it will happen but probably not for a while," she said at the time.

Since their wedding, Pitt and Anniston have been touted not only as one of Hollywood's most glamorous couples but also one of the film industry's most powerful. They are co-owners of the Plan B production company with producer Brad Grey, who earlier this week was hired to replace Sherry Lansing as head of the Paramount studio.

Aniston is perhaps the most recognizable star of "Friends," the ensemble show that concluded a 10-year run last year as one of television's highest-rated comedies. She also has starred in such films as "Along Came Polly," "Bruce Almighty" and "The Good Girl." Her father is veteran soap opera actor John Aniston.

Pitt, long one of Hollywood' most bankable film stars, is currently seen in "Ocean's Twelve." Other film credits include "Ocean's Eleven," "Fight Club," "Meet Joe Black," "Seven Years in Tibet," "Sleepers," "12 Monkeys," "Legends of the Fall," "A River Runs Through It" and "Thelma & Louise."

Jennifer Aniston 'has miscarriage'

Former 'Friends' star Jennifer Aniston has reportedly had a miscarriage, America's National Enquirer magazine has claimed.

The stunning actress allegedly fell pregnant last month after trying to conceive with husband, Brad Pitt, for some time.

It has not yet been disclosed when the alleged miscarriage occurred but according to sources the news has left both stars devastated.

A source claimed to US magazine the National Enquirer: "Jennifer had been in pain so she and Brad went to see her doctor.
He broke the terrible news to them.

Brad broke down and wept.
He has wanted to become a father more than anything in the world."

Despite the tragedy the experience is said to have brought the Hollywood couple closer together and even more determined to try for another child.

The source added: "Brad was a total wreck over the miscarriage.

p>But he did everything possible to tend to Jen.

It was by far the biggest test of their love."

Aniston, 35, has been desperate to have a child for the past year and it was of the reasons why she decided to quit the hit US show 'Friends'.

Earlier last week she was spotted visiting former co-star Courtney Cox, who suffered a series of miscarriages before recently giving birth to a baby girl, Coco.

Jennifer Aniston visits plastic surgery clinic

Jennifer Aniston has reportedly visited a plastic surgery clinic.

The former 'Friends' star was spotted entering a top Beverley Hills surgery in a cloak and dagger operation.

The actress spent five hours at the Lasky Centre, the same clinic her husband Brad Pitt visited for skin care treatment last year, after being let in via a back door.

The clinic specialises in botox and collagen injections, skin treatments and a range of plastic surgery operations.
A source revealed to Britain's The Sun newspaper : "Jennifer went in to the clinic with a friend.

She was very anxious not to be seen and was later whisked away through a back door. She was there for about five hours before being taken off to a private address."

Meanwhile, Jennifer is at the centre of a pregnancy riddle.

After months of saying she is ready to start a family, the blonde beauty is rumoured to be expecting her first child with husband Brad Pitt.

A source revealed earlier this month to America's MSNBC: "This is something that both Brad and Jennifer want. Expect an announcement soon."

Jennifer's spokesman simply said: "I keep hearing that rumour."

Jennifer Aniston 'discouraged from acting'

Jennifer Aniston has revealed her father discouraged her from acting.

The 'Friends' star grew up in a celebrity background - her godfather, Telly Savalas, was '80s TV star Kojak, while her father, John Aniston, starred in US soap 'Days of Our Lives'.

However, the actress was warned not to pursue acting.

She said: "I wasn't allowed to watch any TV until I was a teenager.

"I remember when I wanted to go to Performing Arts high school and my dad just said, 'Don't. Don't do it. Don't do it. Be a doctor. Be a lawyer.'"

Jennifer Aniston spends £1k on raunchy lingerie

Jennifer Aniston reportedly splashed out 1,000GBP on sex toys and lingerie during a recent shopping trip.

Sources claim the stunning actress bought a selection of saucy items - including a raunchy peephole bra - from West London's Myla store just days before husband Brad Pitt's planned 41st birthday party.

However, the lavish bash was cancelled at the last minute when Jennifer's therapist, who she regarded as a surrogate mother, tragically died and the couple had to fly back to Los Angeles.

Although Jennifer arrived at the LA airport alone without her wedding ring - fuelling speculation her marriage in is trouble.
However, despite rumours the couple's marriage is on the rocks, Jennifer's publicist, Stephen Huvane, insists they are happy together and are looking forward to spending Christmas together.

He said: "Everything is fine with Jennifer and Brad. They are together now and will be enjoying the holidays together."

Earlier this month, it was alleged that Brad's friendship with Angelina Jolie had put a strain on their romance.

Sources claimed Brad's close friendship with Angelina, who he stars with in upcoming movie 'Mr and Mrs Smith', had caused problems with Jennifer.

However, a spokesman for the couple denied claims of the marriage being in trouble, branding them "ridiculous and rubbish".

Jennifer Aniston Not Charmed by Brad!

Jennifer Aniston while on holiday with husband Bradd Pitt at George Clooney’s villa in Italy received a script for approval.

Jennifer Aniston on reading the script her skin crawled as she recoiled even though this treatment was being strongly recommended by her agents. The synopsis was about a bored housewife who sheds her suburban lifestyle and becomes a snake charmer!

The big problem Jennifer is so terrified of slithery creatures she can't even bear to watch them on TV by all accounts, so no surprise when she declared that she hated the script.

But when hubby Brad read it and proclaimed, it was a compelling story and the main role was a great character, to bolster his claims he called George, who absolutely raved about the idea but our Jen just couldn't stop shuddering!
Eventually, the two pranksters could not contain there laughter any longer and burst out laughing confessing to the stunned Jennifer that they'd had the slithery script written as a prank!

Apparently Jen with some friendly venom hissed that was not very nice and retorted she never would have done it anyway, leaving the two jokers a little shame faced but never the less amused.

Watch out Bradd and George I’m sure Jennifer won’t forget and remember vengeance can be sweet! (Source national enquirer)

Brad tears up, Jennifer parties hard

Call it A Tale of Two Cities... or Spouses: On the evening of Dec. 2, film fans were treated to a rare sight: manly movie star Brad Pitt, 40, with eyes welling up on national television as he admitted to Primetime Live's Diane Sawyer just how much he has "family on the mind." Just as his interview was airing, however, Brad's wife, Jennifer Aniston, was acting out an entirely different story 5,458 miles away in London, where sources say she was enjoying a 10-hour marathon of merriment that culminated in a 5 a.m. return to her posh, $3,000- a-night suite in the renowned hotel, The Dorchester.

If Jen knew about Brad's teary eyes, witnesses say she certainly didn't show it, dancing and partying the night away with co-stars from her upcoming film Derailed, which is just finishing up filming in London. But to industry observers, the scene -- along with ongoing rumors of a rift in the Pitt-Aniston marriage, including, as Star reported, a chilly goodbye at the Los Angeles airport Nov. 26 -- served to underscore the separate lives Hollywood's once "Golden Couple" may really lead.

Brad upset with Jennifer over ring

Jennifer Aniston was spotted without her wedding ring earlier this week, which fuelled rumours that she and Brad Pitt may be on the road to a break-up.

The Seven star is adamant to combat media-created rumours that the pair are going through troubled times. The couple are stable, though Brad is upset with Jennifer over her taking off her wedding ring.

A source says: "He demanded to know what she was thinking.

"Jennifer assured Brad that she had simply forgotten to put her rings on that day and that she had no idea it would be seized on like that.

"The truth is that they're happily married, but all the rumours are beginning to get to them."

Are Pitt and Aniston heading for a split?

Could America's sweetheart super-couple's marriage be on the rocks?

That's the vibe Jennifer Aniston has been sending recently as she canceled hubby Brad Pitt's 41st birthday party and was seen sans her precious wedding ring.

A source told the British newspaper The Sun, "Jennifer never takes her ring off, it's her absolute pride and joy. It is very unusual that she wasn't wearing it."

Rumors of a breakup were sparked this summer as Pitt and his 'Mr. and Mrs. Smith' co-star Angelina Jolie reportedly got a little too cozy for Aniston's liking.

Jennifer Aniston lets her hair down

Brad Pitt isn't the only fun-loving member of his household: Jennifer Aniston let her hair down in London recently at the wrap party for her upcoming film "Derailed." Decked out in a trouser suit, the former "Friend" -- sans Pitt -- partied with her costar Clive Owen and some execs from the film at Century club in central London until 1 a.m. "She was really enjoying herself and seemed to be happy," says a spy. "She even posed for photographs."

Is Jennifer Aniston pregnant?

Jennifer Aniston has reportedly confessed to fans she is pregnant.

The 'Friends' actress is said to have made the sensational admission when a group of women approached her in a grocery store to congratulate her on the pregnancy, according to Britain's Daily Star newspaper. An onlooker revealed: "Jennifer was buying bottles of mineral water in a shop when a gaggle of girls approached her.

They literally cornered her and congratulated her on her pregnancy. She looked quite embarrassed and then mumbled a quick 'Yeah' and then a 'Thank-you.'" The source also claims Jennifer was extremely interested when the fans told her of their own pregnancy experiences. Earlier this week, Jennifer fuelled speculation she is pregnant by stocking up on junk foods.

The actress, who is married to Brad Pitt, appears to have ditched her strict diet for high calorie snacks and sweets - prompting rumours she may be trying to satisfy pregnancy cravings. Britain's The Sun newspaper reported that Jennifer was spotted in a Beverly Hills mini-mart buying Reese's peanut butter cups and coconut and pineapple flavoured ice cream.

A source revealed: "Jennifer normally obsesses over her diet but she's been eating exactly what she wants when she wants. All her friends are hoping that this is it for them - and that Jennifer is pigging out to satisfy her pregnancy cravings."

Earlier this month, Jennifer became the centre of a pregnancy riddle after friends claimed she was expecting. A source revealed to America's MSNBC at the time: "This is something that both Brad and Jennifer want. Expect an announcement later this month."

The actress has made no secret of her desire to have children and confessed she wanted to try for a baby with Brad as soon as 'Friends' ended its ten-year run. In April, Jennifer revealed they were "in the process" of trying for a baby.
It was reported Jennifer had started taking folic acid so her body would be ready to have a baby and that the couple - who married in 2000 - have already decorated a nursery in their Beverly Hills mansion. Brad is also desperate to become a dad, saying last month: "A family? No question. We're heading that way. It's a natural progression for us, and it' s time."

From Brad to Jennifer with love

Brad Pitt has bought wife Jennifer Aniston the same yacht that Richard Burton gave Elizabeth Taylor, reports The Sun. The 40-year-old actor paid £3m for the Kalizma.

In 1967 Burton paid £80,000 for the 165ft-long boat as a present for Taylor after she won an Oscar for Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf? A friend told The Sun: "The boat used to be owned by Hollywood's golden couple - and 40 years on, history is repeating itself."
The 98-year-old vessel, which Pitt bought from an Indian brewing tycoon, used to be packed with antique furniture and works of art.

The friend added: "Brad wanted Jennifer to know how much he thinks of her. This was the perfect way."

Jennifer and Brad are huge fans of the croquet

Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston have reportedly splashed out $11,000 on a croquet set.

Sources claim the movie heartthrob and the 'Friends' beauty have become huge fans of the garden game and play and every chance they get. So the couple decided to invest in their own set - at the hefty cost of $11,000.

Jennifer Aniston has a very special hairstyle

Former Friends star Jennifer Aniston's famous mid-nineties hairstyle has been named the most influential cut of all time.
The actress - who played Rachel Green in the now defunct TV comedy - beat off competition from screen legends Marilyn Monroe and Farrah Fawcett for her popular hairdo, dubbed "the Rachel cut". Charlie's Angels beauty Fawcett came second with her much-imitated curly locks, followed by late British royal Diana, Princess Of Wales, whose short crop reportedly cost $7,200 a year.

Jennifer Aniston has new ''Friends With Money''

Catherine Keener, Jennifer Aniston, Frances McDormand and Joan Cusack are negotiating to become best friends for "Lovely & Amazing" helmer Nicole Holofcener in "Friends With Money." The film revolves around four best friends and their relationships with one another and their husbands. Only one (Aniston) is not married.

Holofcener, who will write and direct the project, is joining with This Is That partners Anthony Bregman, Anne Carey and Ted Hope, who will produce. Bregman nd Hope were among the producers of Holofcener's last film "Lovely & Amazing." This Is That is currently in discussions with Sony Pictures Classics to release the project.

It will also reteam her with her muse Keener, who was nominated for best female lead in "Lovely" at the 2003 Independent Spirit Awards. The Oscar-nominated actress also starred in Holofcener's feature debut, "Walking and Talking," which garnered her another Spirit nomination for best female lead in 1997. "Lovely & Amazing" netted six Spirit Award nominations last year, the most of any 2002 release.

Between making the two features, Holofcener has directed a slew of notable TV shows, including "Six Feet Under," "Gilmore Girls," "Sex and the City" and "Cold Feet."
Nominated for an Oscar for her work in "Being John Malkovich," Keener's other projects include the Truman Capote feature "Capote," "The Ballad of Jack and Rose" and "The Interpreter." She will go on to make "The 40 Year-Old Virgin" after completing "Friends With Money."

Aniston's other projects include "Derailed," "Diary" and "Gambit." Cusack has been at work on "Ice Princess" and "Chicken Little."

Jennifer and Brad visit Ethiopia

Actors Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston spent four days in Ethiopia to learn more about Aids in Africa as part of a fundraising campaign to combat the disease on the world's poorest continent, a spokesperson said on Tuesday. The trip was organised by Data, a Washington-based lobby group co-founded by rock star Bono, which campaigns on third world trade, debt and HIV/Aids.

The couple, who are married, began their first visit to the Horn of Africa country on Friday and left late on Monday night. "It was a listening and learning visit," said Data spokesperson Jamie Drummond. He declined repeated requests for comment from Pitt or Aniston. While in Ethiopia, Pitt and Aniston visited local projects fighting the spread of HIV. They also met with eight top Ethiopian singers, who have collaborated on songs to educate people about HIV and to raise money for Aids programmes. Tsedenia Gebremarkos, who has just released a hit album in Ethiopia, said Pitt was keen to know how Aids had affected the nation, one of the poorest on earth where average annual incomes are just US$100. "He was very humble and really interested in the situation here," Tsedenia said. "We hope his popularity can raise awareness in the same way we are trying to. We need the support of people like him."

In Africa, 29.4 million people are living with the virus, which has left 25 million children orphaned, according to UN figures. Bone has travelled the world spreading the message that more than 6 000 Africans die every day from Aids, while 8 000 new people are infected daily. Only about 50 000 Africans get potentially life-saving drugs, known as anti-retrovirals, while at least four million people need the drugs, which cost more than most Africans earn.

Jennifer Aniston tired of the paparazzi

Jennifer Aniston told an interview that she was tired of the paparazzi being interested in the most mundane things, including what toilet paper she bought. But if we all didn't consume such details about celebrity's lives, there wouldn't be a market for photos of Britney camped out at the Beverly Hills Hotel pool with a cigarette dangling from her mouth, or Cameron and Justin walking out of a hotel. Paparazzi, who were named after the character Paparazzo, the photographer in Fellini's film "La Dolce Vita," are nothing new. They made Marilyn Monroe famous and countless other film stars. They are not without their bad rap, however. Many people still blame the photographers who were chasing Princess Diana and Dodi Al Fayed through the streets of Paris for the couple's death. There are two schools of thought on paparazzi and celebrity. Those who run taboid newspapers and employ paparazzi believe that the prying eyes go with celebrity status.

Gary Morgan, the co-founder of a celebrity news agency Splash, believes as much as celebrities loathe the paparazzi, they know they want the publicity, too. "There's a relationship between us and celebrities. They don't want us around, but they know they need the publicity. They see us as a necessary evil,'' he told the Daily Telegraph. But being a celebrity brings with it a sense of paranoia and a feeling of never being able to escape the prying lens of a camera. Jeff Rayner, a Los Angeles-based celebrity photographer, told the Daily Telegraph recently. "Brad (Pitt's) even got a camera on his car that shows the license plates of the person behind him, so he can check if someone's following," said Rayner.
